What cause snoring and what causes Obstractive sleep apnea.

I wrote down some notes on a video on YouTube which is an interview of Jerald H. Simon, he is a Sleep Disorders Specialist. In this video he explains the cause of snoring and also obstructive sleep apnea about Sleep Apnea. They ask his some questions and he answers. He said that the people who have it they are not getting a good sleep at night, snoring is a big problem it is a Bunuel affect and because of that a vacuum is created. When the person snores the soft tissue vibration occurs and because of that sleep apnea occurs. Dr Simon said that Sleep apnea comes from snoring and when the twing folds in the throat to that person it creates sleep apnea. He said that they might sleep 8 hours a day but the true is that they feel that they slept for 3-4 hours only, because of this disorder it did not allowed them to sleep really well, it interacted their sleep.

For me its always nice to hear what a specialist have to say about this. He is a specialist and she/he knows the subject better.

Why sleep apnea raises risk of stroke, heart attacks?

I took some notes on a health report documenter that I found on YouTube about Sleep Apnea. She gives really important points of sleep apnea, and she gives different quotes of what different doctors had said. It said that loud snoring this is a sign of sleep apnea. Sleep apnea also reduces sleep quality, it leads to different strokes such us heart stroke and it raises the stress level. The reporter also said that sleep apnea occurs mostly in men than women. She defines obstructive sleep apnea , as people that are overweight , it affects children and that a solution to help it disappear is a CPAP which is a machine that opens the airway path. A very important part that she said is ‘Dr Twery compares the effect of sleep apnea to racing a car engine.’ He also said that ‘men can experience up to a threefold increased risk of stroke’ during an experience that a group of researches had they found out that over the nine years that ‘the more severe the sleep apnea is, the the greater the chance of a stroke.’

Personaly I found it really detailed and it helped me to understand what is sleep apnea, what kind of people get it and how it can be treated, and is always nice to read quotes of doctors of what they say about sleep apnea, what is their opinion their point of view.
